About

Hall of Fame trainer John Hawkes has enjoyed further great success since entering into a training partnership with sons Michael and Wayne in 2008.

Aside from John’s nine Sydney trainers’ premierships with Crown Lodge, in recent years the Hawkes team has enjoyed success with the likes of Fiumicino, Real Saga, Love Conquers All and All Too Hard, which gave John Hawkes his 100th Group One winner with his Caulfield Guineas triumph.

In 2014, Team Hawkes celebrated their biggest success of the training partnership when taking out the richest juvenile race in the world, the Golden Slipper Stakes, with outstanding filly Mossfun.

This autumn is shaping up to be another huge one with an enviable stable of established performers including Chautauqua,Messene and smart stayer Leebaz.
